Women’s black faux leather jackets – how to choose and maintain

July 11, 2015 by Jean-Marc Chateigner Leave a Comment

In this post, I’m going to show you some amazing and very simple advice to not only choose the best women’s black faux leather jackets, but to also maintain them and keep them as new for a very long time.

I’ve been working with faux leather for the last twenty-five years of my life, and in the last three, I stopped working with real leather altogether, shifting my artisanship to working only with faux leather, I now consider myself to be one of the best artisans when it comes to choosing and even repairing and maintaining faux leather objects and products, and the one thing I keep always noticing is the fact that people still see faux leather as a low-grade material!

You have to use a good conditioner to prevent your faux leather objects from cracking and losing their texture. Click HERE now to try the best!

They think that any product made with faux leather should be cheap and of low quality, but this is absolutely not, and the most obvious example comes to my mind when it comes to women’s black faux leather jackets!

They are definitely one of the most neglected clothing items for women, it’s because it’s still perceived as being a low quality product!

Is it true?

Absolutely not, I’ve created some women’s black faux leather jackets that were much more expensive than the real leather ones, yet, they were of high quality and also extremely durable as I stated before.

Then, how to choose the best women’s black faux leather jackets?

It’s quite easy, just follow these advice:

The first one is to always buy from known brands and trusted stores!

The problem with faux leather products nowadays is that they are made in Bangladesh and China, I have nothing against these countries, but for the most part, these places tend to send us low quality products which tend to look very good, but when it comes to durability, they are very weak!

Then, how to make sure you are choosing the right black faux leather jacket?

You can’t, the only thing you can do is to buy from reputable stores, which offers warranty and which tend to customer satisfaction a lot.

The second thing you need to focus on is the faux leather quality itself.

If you feel that the woman’s jacket you are buying is very lightweight and the faux leather fabrics is very thin, then avoid it as much as possible, especially if the fabric is also very rigid, this will mean one thing, it will not withstand the test of time and will crack very quickly and easily.

Let’s talk now about how to maintain women’s black faux leather jackets.

There are so many products you can use and so many things you can do in order to maintain black faux leather jackets for women in a great shape, but personally, I like things to be easy and very straightforward, that’s why I always advice women to maintain their black faux leather jackets only using a faux leather conditioner, to apply it once every three months, and to be careful of pointy objects, especially car keys, to not put them inside their pockets because they are very hurtful and damaging to the faux leather fabric.

The second thing to avoid is storing your black faux leather jacket in a place which is very warm and exposed to the sun; indeed, UV rays and heat are the number one sources of stress when it comes to faux leather fabrics.

These are some of the simplest and most effective ways to choose and also maintain women’s black faux leather jackets.
