I’ve been working with faux leather for the last three years extensively, and I know what it feels like to order a white faux leather fabric only to be astonished and disappointed when you receive it some few days later!
This happens to me over and over, especially when shopping from the internet.
And today, I would like to warn you about the traps you need to avoid at all costs, and why you should be very careful.
The first trap to avoid is when selecting a color.
If you are shopping from the internet, you need to be very careful because you may think that you have chosen a clean white faux leather fabric, when in fact, after some few days , when you receive it, you will be surprised that it’s not a pure white fabric, but just a “dirty white” one!
This has happened to me many times and I don’t want it to happen to you as well.
Why is this?
It’s because many manufacturers are going to use recycled faux leather pieces and shoots, even worse, some are going to use recycled plastic, which is not as flexible and as tough as faux leather.
Because these manufacturers are going to use different shoots from different faux leather fabric colors, whatever coloring agent they are going to use, it’s not going to give them proper “pure white”!
And yes, this is the trap you need to avoid at all costs.
What to do?
You only have a few options, the first one is to buy your white faux leather fabric from a trusted store, one which has a good return policy, and the second thing to do is to buy from known name brands.
And from my experience, if you would like to avoid all the hassles when buying white faux leather fabrics, the best thing you can do is to avoid cheap prices at all costs, because they are a synonym of cheap quality and will definitely mean that you will get a dirty white instead of the pure one.
And these are the things you must avoid at all costs when shopping and selecting your faux white leather fabric.
