White faux leather dining chairs – how to choose, maintain, and clean

June 6, 2015 by Jean-Marc Chateigner Leave a Comment

Let me share with you my experience when it comes to choosing, maintaining, and cleaning white faux leather dining chairs in this post.

There are so many tips and so many techniques to choose and maintain your white faux leather dining chairs that this post can not talk about, but I’m going to limit myself to the most important ones, after all, they are the ones which are going to make all the difference when it comes to your dining chairs.

For all your faux leather maintenance, I highly recommend saddle soap. Click here to get it!

The first thing you need to understand about white faux leather dining chairs is that the cheap brands always offer cheap quality products!

This idea may sound a little strange to most of you because you may be thinking that faux leather is a cheap material, but it used to be this way a long time ago, nowadays, faux leather is an expensive fabric as well, and any quality faux leather fabric is going to cost a lot, and needless to tell you that faux leather, as with real leather, demands a lot of craftsmanship and persistence in order to make and use in making quality upholstery, and this means one thing:

If you bargain with the price, you are also going to bargain with the quality.

This is the thing I always say to my customers and friends, don’t go cheap when it comes to faux leather, you will regret it!

I say this because from my experience, faux leather tends to become a nightmare when you buy it cheaply because it tends to smell very badly and it will also feel and crack very quickly!

Yes, this can happen to you if you are not careful, that’s why you need to choose carefully and only shop from known brands and known stores.

The next thing you should always have in mind when choosing white faux leather dining chairs is the comfort level.

Apart from sitting and trying them for a few minutes, your white faux leather dining chairs can hide so many surprises for you, the first one is that they may become extremely uncomfortable with time.

By this, I mean that if you choose low-quality white faux leather dining chairs, soon after, you will start to feel the metal frame under the cushions and this is due to the fact that the faux leather fabric isn’t thick enough.

Let’s talk now about how to maintain and clean your white faux leather dining chairs:

The first thing to always have in mind is time.

When you stain your white faux leather dining chair, you should be very quick to act, just use white vinegar with some water and a paper tissue to clean it, and please, never use pure alcohol or an alcoholic beverage to do so, it will make the color fade and it may even cause cracking.
