February 8, 2015 by Jean-Marc Chateigner Leave a Comment

I’ve been working with faux leather upholstery for the last twenty-five years of my life, and I know how to clean, repair, and maintain it in perfect condition, and today, I’m going to teach you how to clean faux leather upholstery very easily, after all, it doesn’t require a lot of work and a lot of concentration, you just need the right tools and the right chemicals.

First, you need to identify your dirt!

Click here NOW to get a great Leather Conditioner that will get rid of wrinkles quickly.

In other words, you need to tell what kind of stain your faux leather upholstery is suffering from, for example, if it’s liquid or solid, if it’s chemically dangerous and corrosive, like alcohol or ink or you are dealing with just water or some juice etc.

Now, let me show you how to clean your faux leather upholstery easily:

If you are dealing with a solid stain, for example, ice cream or dirt, take a dry piece of cloth or a clean sponge, some warm water, and wipe gently, you need first to get rid of the residual dirt and stains with a dry piece of cloth, wipe with the warm water as gently as possible.

Give your items luster and durability using this powerful faux leather cleaner: Click here!

When you are done, you have to apply a good faux leather conditioner, because it’s going to protect your upholstery and prevent the minerals and even chlorine in the water from penetrating the faux leather fabric and damaging it in the future.

What if you are dealing with liquid stain?

For example, juice or soda!

The same technique is going to be used, however, don’t use a lot of warm water in this case, first, start by drying the affected area, and then use just some few drops of warm water and wipe very gently while changing the cleaning cloths as much as possible.

And when you are done, use a good faux leather conditioner as mentioned before to restore the shine and health of your fabric.

Let’s talk now about the worst enemy of faux leather upholstery: alcohol and other aggressive chemicals.

Alcohol and bleach cleaners are by far the worst enemies of your faux leather upholstery, and when it’s exposed to them, you have a very limited amount of time to act quickly and get rid of as much as possible.

Then, be ready, when your faux leather upholstery is exposed to alcohol, of course, beer isn’t as damaging as whiskey, start by getting rid of it using a dry cloth, then immediately use a leather conditioner, the same should be used with other chemicals as well.

Don't forget to use this faux leather conditioner once every 6 months, it will keep your faux leather objects like new: Click here!

And yes, this is how to clean faux leather upholstery, if you have another condition you would like to ask about, please, do so in the comment section below, I will happily answer you as quickly as possible.
