I’ve already talked in a previous post about cleaning faux leather objects, but when it comes to faux leather jackets, they tend to be trickier and also much more difficult to clean; it is because they tend to have different faux leather fabrics and different coloring!

You may not notice this, but faux leather jackets are extremely difficult to clean, however, it is not impossible!

I’m not going to advise you to take your faux leather jackets to a professional, this tend to be very expensive and will probably take you a long time to get it fixed, however there are some very effective and cheap ways to get rid of stains, even the difficult ones.

The first way to clean your faux leather jacket is by using saddle soap.

If you have a lot of leather and faux leather objects in your home, you need 00006to have saddle soap, it is a must!

To prevent faux leather from peeling and cracking, I highly advice you to use a good conditioner. Click here to try it!

What it will do is give you a clean and very soft texture to your faux leather jacket, it will also get rid of stains, even the most difficult ones, and the wonderful thing about saddle soap is that it only costs about five dollars!

Here is how to use it:

Soak a dry sponge with saddle soap and then wipe the stained areas, it is this simple!

The second way to clean your faux leather jacket is to use fiebing’s all-purpose cleaner and leather conditioner.

This product only costs about five dollars and is simply amazing, it is going to prevent your jacket from cracking and it will also get rid of stains and other undesired dirt.

Again, you should use a sponge or a dry cloth and wipe the affected area thoroughly.

The next technique is to use white vinegar.

This may not work for some faux leather jackets, but for the majority, it will give an impressive result!

Here is what you need to do:

Mix two tablespoons of warm water with one tablespoon of white vinegar, then using a dry cloth, clean the stained area.

And the final and probably most effective way is to use Lexol leather conditioner.

This leather conditioner is both very efficient at cleaning real leather and faux leather as well, it will not only clean your faux leather jacket, but will also prevent cracking and will give your jacket a very nice look.
