Are cheap faux leather chairs a good investment? This is what you are going to find out in this post, and I really hope you will change your mind about them once and for all.
Unfortunately, most low-priced and discount faux leather chairs are not of good quality, they contain a weak frame, usually made out of very thin metal, not even plastic or aluminum, and the worst thing about them is that they are absolutely not comfortable, because they are made out of very thin faux leather fabrics which make them really painful after just some few hours of use.

How much is cheap?
This is the question I keep receiving from different readers when it comes to faux leather, they think that there is a specific price they should never go under, but unfortunately, I cannot recommend a definite price, you have to judge for yourself, and that’s why I’m going to share with you the right tools to do so.
The first one is related to the smell.
If a faux leather fabric smells terrible, then you need to stay away from it, no matter what its price is.

Because a bad smell is usually a synonym of a terrible quality, in fact, cheap faux leather fabrics are treated using low-quality chemicals and sometimes are not treated at all, which makes them very dangerous for your health as well!
The second criterion to always have in mind is elasticity.
If you see and notice that a faux leather fabric is highly elastic, then you should stay away from it, and vice versa as well if it’s not elastic at all!
If it’s not stretchy enough and too rigid, you should also avoid this because it can give you a terrible experience, especially when comfort is very important to you, which is the case in most people.
And that’s why I stay away from cheap faux leather chairs as much as possible, in fact, in my shop, I keep receiving so many faux leather chairs that are extremely damaged, sometimes, the framing is broken, and most of the time, they started peeling and cracking after just some few weeks of use!
I don’t want you to go through this, that’s why you need to avoid them as much as possible and in my opinion, if you are going to pay less than fifty dollars for one faux leather chair, then it’s not worth it and you will soon be looking for another one to replace it!
