Because faux leather sectional sofas are at high risk of peeling and cracking, due to their functions, and due to the fact that they are always used and under a lot of stress, I highly recommend that you follow this guide in order to know how to clean and repair them properly.

Most people are going to commit horrible mistakes when it comes to cleaning and even repairing their faux leather sectional sofas!

For all your faux leather maintenance, I highly recommend saddle soap. Click here to get it!

They think that by applying some few drops of alcohol or a cleaning product from the kitchen, they are going to clean them properly! Well, they are doing things the wrong way, and after just some few months, their faux leather sectional sofas are going to start cracking, losing their colors, and even peeling horribly!

I don’t want this happening to you, that’s why I’m going to give you the best ways in order to clean and repair them properly.

First, let’s talk about how to repair a faux leather sectional sofa.

Don’t jump this section, I’m sure that one day an incident is going to happen, you may scratch your faux leather sectional sofa, your dog may even bite its parts or even worse, you may drop something sharp which is going to cause a whole!

To clean faux leather perfectly, use saddle soap! Click here to try it!

You must be prepared, that’s why you need to always have at home one of the best products for repairing and making your faux leather sectional sofa look as new, it’s called: MastaPlasta Peel and Stick First-Aid Leather Repair Band-Aid and it’s just an amazing product, what it does is quite simple, when you have a peel or a crack, you just apply this paste, of course, while choosing the most suitable color, and you wait for it to dry, soon, your faux leather sofa is going to look as new.

Another amazing thing you can do is to invest in a good faux leather glue, a proper one.

Do not use any glue when it comes to cracks or holes, only use leather glues, the ones that are not going to produce a lot of heat and a lot of chemical reactions, so as not to damage your faux leather fabrics. And one of the best faux leather glues you can use is Bostik, it’s very affordable and extremely efficient as well.

Let’s talk now about how to clean your faux leather sectional sofa.

It’s very easy and I’ve talked about this in many of my posts, here is what you need to do:

For all your leather and faux leather items, I highly recommend Saddle soap. Click here to try it!

Take a dry piece of cloth or sponge, apply some few drops of warm water to it, and then wipe very gently, when you are done, apply some leather conditioner to the affected area in order to nourish it and get rid of the chlorine and other minerals in the water, it’s very efficient and it will make your faux leather sectional sofa look amazing very quickly.
