That’s why I’m going to give you some of the best advice to take good care of it, they will work for you.
The first advice to take good care of your faux leather headboard is to keep it away from sunlight.
A faux leather headboard isn’t protected from the elements in your room all the time, in other words, it doesn’t have any extra protection like a cloth on top of it to prevent damages, that’s why, it’s very important that you keep it from the most damaging elements to faux leather fabrics, which are humidity and sunlight.
And in my experience, I’ve found out that sunlight is the most devastating element when it comes to faux leather fabrics.
Then, to keep your faux leather headboard looking great all the time, you need to keep it away from this element much as possible, this means that if your room is exposed to sunlight most hours of the day, you need to absolutely use curtains to protect your faux leather headboard.
The second advice to keep your faux leather headboard looking amazing is to use a good faux leather conditioner.
Although most people are going to think that faux leather conditioners are only good for sofas and other upholstery items, the obvious ones, I don’t agree with this, you should also use a faux leather conditioner with your headboard, it’s very important, and it’s going to keep it protected, due to the creation of a thin layer of wax on the surface of the fabric, this layer is responsible for reflecting UV rays from the sun, preventing humidity and moisture from penetrating the fabric and most importantly, holding the fibers together so as the fabric stays elastic and resistant to scratches and peels as well.
