Faux leather dresses for women – how to avoid wrinkles and peels

June 29, 2015 by Jean-Marc Chateigner Leave a Comment

If you have a faux leather dress for women or you would like to buy one, and you are interested to know about the most important steps to prevent it from developing wrinkles and peels as well, then this post is going to help you tremendously, in it, I’m going to reveal to you the best techniques that I use in my shop to keep faux leather clothes peel, cracks, and wrinkles free.

The first step is hanging!

For all your faux leather maintenance, I highly recommend saddle soap. Click here to get it!

I know that this is going to sound like a stupid advice, it’s not! If you don’t know a lot about faux leather fabric and its texture, you need to read the section because I’m going to reveal to you what kind of hanging technique you need to do whenever you are dealing with a faux leather dress for women.

To most people, hanging their clothes simply means that they are going to put them vertically!

But what I mean by hanging here is something completely different, first, you need to find an empty bag, in it, you are going to put your faux leather dress, then, you are going to hang it while making sure nothing is pushing it to the sides or pressing it on the sides as well!

Increase your items' luster and durability using this powerful faux leather ccleaner: Click here!

You need to understand that faux leather is very easy to wrinkle, after all, it’s made out of plastic materials, at least, something similar, and when you hang it in a crowded area, wrinkles are going to form! Then, you must be very careful and avoid wrinkles using the technique I’ve just showed you as much as possible, it’s because they are very difficult to get rid of.

The second thing you need to do in order to prevent wrinkles is to apply a good conditioner before hanging your faux leather dress.

And this is what my wife does every single summer with our faux leather jackets, she applies a good amount of leather conditioner, a honey one, and then she puts them in a clean bag and hangs them loosely, trust me, they don’t develop any wrinkles, and they look superb when we take them out during the winter.

Let’s talk now about how to prevent peels and cracks.

You must understand that peels and cracks are only going to form and happen once you expose your faux leather dress to excess heat, huge temperature changes, and high amounts of humidity.

To prevent this, always make sure you avoid exposing your dress to excessive heat, especially in front of the chimney or directly exposing it to an air conditioner vent, and every three months, try to apply a good amount of a good faux leather conditioner, it’s very important and it’s going to prevent both cracks and wrinkles as well.

Remember to use the following conditioner to maintain your faux leather objects cracks free: Click here!

These are the most important advice to prevent wrinkles and peels in faux leather dresses for women.
