I’m going to share with you some amazing techniques to make your faux leather dress look great all the time.
Although the techniques I’m going to show you are very easy to understand and implement, they are very important and even worth many hundreds of dollars, because, as you may already know, a faux leather dress isn’t cheap, it’s a bit expensive and if you choose a good quality one, it can be very fragile!
Indeed, good quality faux leather dresses are very fragile, it’s because they are going to use a very thin and flexible fabric which is not going to withstand time and wear and tear very easily, that’s why I’m very excited about the techniques I’m going to show you today, they will keep your faux leather dress looking amazing.
The first technique is about choosing the right size.
Unfortunately, this technique is not going to help you if you already have a faux leather dress because it consists of choosing one which is at least two sizes above your own size, in other words, it must be bigger than you!
Although most women prefer their faux leather dresses to be a bit smaller in size, in order to make them look sexy and beautiful, I don’t advise you to do this, it’s going to crack and peel because of the wear and tear, and even worse, it’s going to decrease your comfort levels dramatically because the faux leather fabric won’t “breathe healthy”, in other words, the moisture is going to stay trapped inside and it will start causing bad smells and even itchiness to your skin!
Let’s talk now about how to make your faux leather dress look amazing.
You need to use saddle soap!
Although saddle soap is famous for being a shoe product, I highly recommend that you use it with your faux leather dress, but only in small amounts.
As an example, every three months, take some few teaspoons, and apply onto your dress, while wiping gently, this will make it look amazing and it will also increase its lifespan.
The third technique you should also start doing is using baby oil.
I treat all my faux leather objects, especially my shoes and headboard with baby oil, but please, only choose one which doesn’t smell, otherwise, your faux leather fabric is going to smell like baby oil!
Just use some few drops every six months, wipe gently, and it will keep your faux leather dresses looking fantastic.
