Faux leather club chair – how to keep it looking good

April 11, 2015 by Jean-Marc Chateigner Leave a Comment

What I really hate about faux leather club chairs is that they are very difficult to maintain, not only is the frame very fragile and expensive to repair, the faux leather fabrics tend to lose their strength, elasticity, and texture very quickly as well, however, this is not due to the chairs themselves or how they were made, but to maintenance and use from the user part.

And this is why I’m writing this post today, to tell you about some amazing and very effective techniques to keep your faux leather club chairs looking amazing, even after many years of use.

You have to use a good conditioner to prevent your faux leather objects from cracking and losing their texture. Click HERE now to try the best!

The first one is to keep them away from humidity as much as possible.

Faux leather club chairs’ frame is so fragile that humidity is going to make them look terrible, very fragile, and extremely breakable or bendable!

I don’t recommend keeping faux leather objects near a humidity sources, especially if they are in the kitchen or near the bathroom!

You should keep them away as much as possible, and if you can’t, just put some salt underneath them in a small container, it’s going to absorb most of the moisture surrounding them and preserve the frame and keep it very strong.

The second technique is to use a good cleaning product.

Usually, I would advise you to use a honey leather conditioner with your faux leather club chair, but most of the time, with use, the faux leather fabric is going to become rough and uncomfortable, that’s why I recommend that you only use baby oil.

And please, only choose one which is smell and color free, it’s very important and it’s going to just nourish your faux leather club chair’s texture and fabric, which is going to offer protection and durability as well.

How to use baby oil with your faux leather club chair?

It’s very easy, you just need to apply some few drops and wipe very gently, however, don’t do this every single month, a maximum of once every six months is more than enough and it will keep them looking amazing.

For all your leather and faux leather items, I highly recommend Saddle soap. Click here to try it!

And please, if you have a comment, a question, or an idea, why not post it in the section below, I will definitely answer it as soon as possible while also giving you all the information and help you need.
