Faux leather boxes – avoid these mistakes!

April 15, 2015 by Jean-Marc Chateigner Leave a Comment

Whether you would like a faux leather box to store important documents, jewelry or even makeup, you need to always have the advice I’m going to share with you in this post in mind.

I’m sorry to say this, but most people are going to neglect some very rudimentary advice when it comes to choosing faux leather boxes, they think that no matter what they do, they will always choose a good quality box, after all, they aren’t made out of real leather, so, they must be very low maintenance products and very cheap as well!

Click here NOW to get a great Leather Conditioner that will get rid of wrinkles quickly.

But the reality is completely different, when you are dealing with faux leather boxes, you need to always have the advice I’m going to share with you in mind:

Always choose to buy from trusted brands and stores.

For her thirty eighth birthday, I decided to give my wife a faux leather box, and because I know what is going on with most faux leather manufacturers, I had this very important idea in mind: only buy faux leather boxes with a warranty!

And indeed, when I brought it home and gave it to my wife, after just two months, it started cracking and it made me look cheap and unkind to my wife! I had to show her a receipt in order for her to believe that it wasn’t cheap!

So, I took it and return it to the store!

To prevent faux leather from peeling and cracking, I highly advice you to use a good conditioner. Click here to try it!

Indeed, the most important advice for me is to always get a faux leather box with a warranty, don’t try to go cheap when it comes to such a product, you have to understand that if you buy low-quality materials, especially when it comes to faux leather, you are going to pay double the price because you will have so many hassles maintaining and repairing the product, much more worse, you will find yourself replacing it after just some few months of use!

The second advice is to focus on the fabric itself.

This doesn’t mean that you should neglect the supporting materials, for example wood or aluminum, but, you should also focus on the faux leather fabric as well, if it’s too thin and only dyed on the surface, you have to stay away from it, even if it’s very cheap!

Only buy faux leather boxes that are made out of thick faux leather fabrics and which are not dyed, rather the fabric is colored chemically.

The third mistake I see people doing all the time is putting pointy objects and even humid ones inside their faux leather boxes!

If you do this, you are wasting some good materials!

Remember to use the following conditioner to maintain your faux leather objects cracks free: Click here!

Pointy objects, especially jewelry, can be very damaging, that’s why, you need to always choose faux leather boxes that are protected from the inside, in other words, there is another important fabric or material inside the box to protect it from different damages.
