Faux leather boots for women – how to clean properly

May 19, 2015 by Jean-Marc Chateigner Leave a Comment

In order to clean faux leather boots for women, you need to use the following techniques, and although they may look very strange and somehow unrealistic, especially when dealing with faux leather fabrics, I would like you to trust me on this one and use them anyway, they will make faux leather boots for women look impressive, beautiful, and as new!

One of the worst enemies of faux leather boots and faux leather fabrics in general is water, and unfortunately, most people are going to use either cold or hot water in order to clean their faux leather boots!

You have to use a good conditioner to prevent your faux leather objects from cracking and losing their texture. Click HERE now to try the best!

Believe me, if you use this, you are going to do more damages than good and on the end, your boots are going to look old, terrible, and ugly! Even worse, they will start losing their color and elasticity as well!

My advice is to use the following technique:

When you would like to clean faux leather boots for women, just use a good faux leather cleaner, and personally, I always use Blue Magic, it’s very affordable, costs only about six dollars, and it’s also very efficient.

However, if you can’t get your hands on this amazing product, I recommend that you go with the next alternative: warm water!

To clean faux leather perfectly, use saddle soap! Click here to try it!

Although I have advised you to stay away from hot and cold water some few lines ago, from my experience, warm water can be very effective as well, it’s not only very easy to use, but it’s also very protective!

When you apply some few drops of warm water, wipe with a dry cloth and that’s it! The warm water temperature is going to activate the fats in the faux leather fabric which are going to protect it and also chase away and expel dirt and other stains very quickly.

However, don’t use this a lot, because this will chase away all the “good” fats!

When you are done, you should apply some few drops of baby oil or any other color and smell free oil, it’s very important to restore your faux leather fabrics’ fat which will protect it and keep it looking good.

Let’s talk now about how to make your boots look amazing, even after many years of use.

It’s quite easy, just use saddle soap, I know that this product is usually used with real leather, but who said that it cannot be used with faux leather as well, it’s very effective and affordable.

For all your leather and faux leather items, I highly recommend Saddle soap. Click here to try it!

These are definitely some of the best techniques to keep faux leather boots for women looking amazing, if you have a question or a comment, post it in the section below.
