August 17, 2015 by Jean-Marc Chateigner Leave a Comment

Having a faux leather backpack can seem like an overwhelming thing, because you need to clean it the proper way and you also need to take good care of it, especially if it’s exposed to sunlight and other damaging elements all the time, it can start cracking and peeling prematurely!

And I don’t want this happening to you, that’s why I’m sharing with you this fantastic guide in order to make your faux leather backpack not only very durable, but also extremely good-looking.

You have to use a good conditioner to prevent your faux leather objects from cracking and losing their texture. Click HERE now to try the best!

The first thing I would like to talk about is the best product you can use to clean it properly!

When dealing with faux leather fabrics, there are so many things you need to avoid, especially alcohol and bleach, these two products, are very dangerous and they are also very damaging when it comes to your skin as well.

So, avoid them as much as possible when you are trying to clean your faux leather backpack!

Then, what to use?

Give your items luster and durability using this powerful faux leather cleaner: Click here!

Unfortunately, there aren’t many things you can use in order to clean your faux leather backpack, usually, when dealing with other faux leather objects, I would advise you to use warm water and a dry piece of cloth, but since there are so many cavities and so many pieces and different fabrics in your faux leather backpack, you need to use a good and reliable cleaning product, and I cannot think of a better one than this amazing product I use myself all the time in my shop:

Blue Magic

It costs only six dollars and it’s very efficient, most importantly, it’s designed to clean vinyl fabrics and faux leather to perfection.

Just apply some few drops and wipe gently using a soft surface cloth, after you are done, hang it near an open window and leave it there for at least five hours.

Let’s talk now about how to maintain your faux leather backpack looking amazing all the time.

And this is no secret, you should start using a good faux leather conditioner, and if you cannot find it, use saddle soap, it’s one of the best greases you can use in order to nourish and maintain faux leather fabrics looking amazing, even after many years of use, what I really enjoy about it is that it’s going to create a thin layer around it which is going to protect the fabric from UV rays and other damaging conditions.
