I’ve been working with faux leather for the last twenty-five years of my professional life, and I know how difficult it is to work with it and also what damages it can get after just some few months of use, and today, I would like to talk about cheap faux leather leggings.
It’s very personal to me, my wife ordered two pairs from the internet some few years ago, they were extremely cheap, in fact, less than ten dollars, and they came from outside the country. After just three weeks of use, they started cracking and peeling and she ended up throwing them away!
Then, are all cheap faux leather leggings bad?
The answer is yes!
If you are dealing with all faux leather leggings, and it’s very cheap, then, you have to stay away from it as much as possible.
I’m not saying this to scare you, but to tell you that a 100% faux leather legging which costs only some few dollars is not worth it! It’s because I know a lot about faux leather and how this fabric can be expensive when you are dealing with high quality ones, however, when you are dealing with low quality fabrics, it can be very cheap and you have to be ready for surprises.
Most of the time, your cheap faux leather leggings are going to start peeling and cracking just after some few months of use, even worse, when you try them the first time, they are going to fit perfectly, but then, after just some few weeks, they won’t fit you anymore!
It’s because the fabric is going to absorb moisture from your skin and this is going to change its molecular structure dramatically because they are not cured properly and they are not suitable for daily use, they will stop stretching and you will end up with a worthless piece of cheap faux leather!
