In this post, I’m going to share with you an amazing technique to not only prevent stains on your Buchannan faux leather chair, but to also make it always look good.
In my faux leather shop, I keep receiving many items and pieces of furniture that are sometimes very difficult to maintain and clean, it’s because they have very difficult stains and their owners simply neglected cleaning them when these problems occurred, this will even result in some furniture pieces becoming permanently stained and needing heavy fixing!
Last month, I received a Buchannan faux leather chair, it was in a terrible condition, and I did everything possible, but I couldn’t get rid of the stains, and this is the reason why I’m writing this post today, to explain to you a “miracle” technique in order to prevent stains once and for all from occurring to your faux leather chair.
This technique relies on using a product which is found in almost all homes, it’s baby oil.
First, start by wiping your Buchannan faux leather chair with a dry cleaning cloth, preferably a soft paper one, when you are done, apply some few drops of baby oil and then wipe gently with a new cleaning cloth again.
Wait for the faux leather fabric to absorb the thin layer of baby oil, and then when it’s completely dry, apply a new layer again.
This process will saturate the fabric with enough baby oil so as to create a thin layer around it which is going to prevent it from absorbing liquids and other stains that can be very devastating and damaging as well.
Of course, your baby oil must be smell and color free, and you should do this at least every six months, I know that it’s a lot of work, but at least you will not have to pay a lot of money when you stain your Buchannan faux leather chair and you would like to fix it, you will just apply a good faux leather cleaner, wipe very gently and you will be done.
