In this post, I’m going to tell you about the most efficient way to clean a black faux leather sofa bed properly, and although there are so many posts and articles on the internet dealing with this subject, I highly recommend that you follow the instructions in this one because I have been working with faux leather for a large part of my life, in fact, more than twenty-five years now and I know how to deal with it and how to make it look amazing.
One of the worst cases I keep receiving when it comes to cleaning and fixing faux leather items is related to faux leather sofa beds, most prominently, the black ones!
For all your faux leather maintenance, I highly recommend saddle soap. Click here to get it!
That’s why I’ve made the decision to write this post and give you the necessary advice to clean your black faux leather sofa bed the right way.
It’s quite easy, just use the following steps:
First, take a dry cleaning cloth, preferably a paper one, which is very soft and not moist at all, and wipe very gently, this is very important in order to get rid of as much dust and dirt particles as you can.
The second step is to take some few drops of warm water and wipe very gently again with a clean soft paper cloth.
Be careful not to hurt or scratch the faux leather fabric.
When you are done, leave for some few minutes to dry, don’t use a lot of warm water.
For all your leather and faux leather items, I highly recommend Saddle soap. Click here to try it!
Then, take some few drops of either baby oil, smell and color free, or a good faux leather conditioner, I recommend using Blue Magic, it’s the one I use myself in my shop, wipe your black faux leather sofa bed gently and when you are done, put it near an open window to dry completely, and this is how you clean your faux leather sofa bed the right way.
