I’m not going to make this post very long, I’m only going to give you a fantastic technique I use in my shop in order to make a black faux leather futon look amazing.
Although faux leather futons are very difficult to maintain and clean, I’ve discovered some amazing techniques in order to achieve this, and trust me, they are very easy to use and unfortunately, most people don’t know about them.
The first step to making your black faux leather futon look amazing is to use the right cloth.
Usually, people are going to use some very rough and “harsh” paper towels in order to clean their faux leather objects and items, especially when it comes to a sofa or chairs, they think that because the faux leather fabrics and texture are rough, they need to use are rough cleaning cloth!
Well, this is not going to work, and from my experience, the softer the cloth is, the better the results will be.
Then, you need to invest some few dollars in getting the softest cleaning cloths you can find, they are extremely important because they will simply prevent your futon’s surface from scratching and looking terrible!
The second step is to use the right products.
I can easily advise you to use beeswax, vinegar, baby oil, warm water and many other “homemade” ingredients, but unfortunately, most of them are not going to give you impressive results when it comes to the black color in your faux leather futon!
It’s because this color is very difficult to clean and take good care of, it will stop shining and having an amazing look once you start using the wrong stuff on it!
Then, what use?
For all your leather and faux leather items, I highly recommend Saddle soap. Click here to try it!
You should do as I do, use a professional product, and from my experience, the best one is by a brand called: Blue Magic, and it’s ideal for cleaning vinyl and faux leather items very easily.
